Having resigned as a business analyst and an environmental scientist, Fela Akinse started out as the Founder and Creative Director at SALUBATA. He is a Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition Finalist 2020; accepted into SolveSchool for Impact Startups (Global) 2020; and Africa 3535 Laureate (2019) Winner of the UUBO Black Friday Pitch Competition (2019). Fela was recently nominated as the Business Person of the Year by The Entrepreneur Africa Awards 2019. He emerged as the winner of the Africa 3535 Young Innovator in Africa Awards 2019; won the UK Government’s Department for International Trade (DIT) Hackathon Competition 2019; The British Council Entrepreneurship Award in 2019; Winner of the UBER/LSETF (Lagos Innovates) Pitch; A Leap Africa Fellow 2019; a Forbes Fellow 2018; and recently invited as a finalist to the Afric’Up in Tunis, EMO Hannover in Berlin and Discover Creative: Circular Design in Vienna. He has been invited to various platforms as a speaker such as VERSLABS, TEDx (TEDxYaba), Junior Chambers International and many more. He is a business consultant, a mentor, motivational speaker and business coach. Fela is highly passionate about entrepreneurship development and its impact in the community.
