Esther Kunda is the NEF’s Policy, Innovation and Community of Scientists Manager. She manages the development of the NEF policy initiatives and works closely with the NEF Community of Scientists on various programs including ensuring a successful NEF Africa Science. She also provides supports Scientific African, the NEF journal. She previously was the Programs and Operations Coordinator. Before joining NEF, she was at Intel as Education Support Manager where she supported the Rwandan Ministry of Education to design and pilot the ICT in Education policy. Prior to that she worked in product development for telecommunications company Tigo Rwanda. She has experience in product development, business strategy and innovation. Esther holds a M.SC in IT from Carnegie Mellon University.
