Menyo Innocent is a medical radiographer with over 4 years of experience in ultrasound and medical devices. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiography from Makerere University Medical School’s College of Health Sciences. Currently, Menyo is a director, co-founder and Lead of M-SCAN Uganda, developers of low-cost portable ultrasound devices that are compatible with laptops, tablets and mobile phones. With the M-SCAN technology, over 532 pregnant women have been scanned, detected over 88 complications in real-time, saving the lives of these mothers. Innocent has worked with a couple of hospitals in the radiology department and he is a principal investigator at M-SCAN. He also is a lecturer of ultrasound at Aga Khan University – Kampala Uganda.
