Moussa Thiam

Moussa Thiam is a civil engineer and holder of a Master’s degree in Mathematics from AIMS-Senegal. He is currently a PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with the National School of Engineering of Mali, where he is Assistant Professor. He is working on developing tools to transform environmental constraints into an opportunity in Africa, such as this “CABA project”, which consists of developing climate models making it possible to optimize the use of water resources, especially in agriculture, the forecasting of extreme events, such as flooding.
