Oghenetega Iortim is an Information Communications Technologist with a Bachelor’s degree from Covenant University. In the past seven years, Oghenetega has worked on software development projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and save operations cost across a wide range of sectors. These include: developing the Powertech Data Module which collates data from and for various power sector companies and which now assists them in providing accurate data to support their claims on income; developing and designing a user guide mobile application for Sterling Bank. He also worked on revamping the Lagos Bus Service e-ticketing project by fixing loopholes in the system and developing custom-fit systems to better manage the project. He developed a management system to restructure and revive the Nigerian Gas Processing and Transportation Central workshop, developing a system than now saves the company around 678 million Naira annually. Oghenetega Iortim is passionate about human wellbeing and is keen on solving health and food accessibility challenges through technology. He is currently attempting to do this through his startup, Gricd, where he is building cold-chain facilities to address storage pitfalls in the agricultural and healthcare sectors. He is an ardent problem solver, team player and collaborator.
