Albert Kure is a trained third-generation teacher, certified manager, food security and climate change advocate, science innovator, and an entrepreneur. His work as co-founder of Frontier Science Solutions Ltd (FrontierSS) is at the intersection of advocating and facilitating STEM education as well as the creation of innovative solutions in the form of ideas, products, and processes that can tackle local problems, and on the shift Africa needs to leap toward the actualization of the SDGs and Agenda 2063. His experience as an innovator is evidenced by his winning the Unity Bank’s #TheUnifiers National Award in the Lantern Category for Innovation in Science and Technology, as well as his delivery of the winning pitch at the 2018 global Thought for Food (TFF) challenge in Brazil. He is a Doctoral candidate of Biochemistry, Thought for Food Ambassador, Fellow of the African Presidential Leadership Program (APLP) in Egypt and One Young World (OYW) Ambassador—attending the 2019 OYW summit in London as an Audi Environmental Foundation Scholar, with Audi Scholars, 15 youth from around the world. He has been involved in engineering a sustainable future while proffering solutions to the problems of scarce resources, environmental destruction, climate change, and population growth. Albert is a member of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Metabolomics Society and the Society for Experimental Biology of Nigeria (NISEB) where he won Prof. (Mrs.) J. Okpuzor’s poster award at the 2017 conference.
